JOIN US FOR THE NEXT REENTRY SIMULATION!
*Next Simulation Scheduled for August 2025, more details to follow*
A Reentry Simulation is an interactive education experience that seeks to raise awareness about the process of reentering the community from a correctional institution. This hands-on activity puts participants into the role of a reentrant where one must balance decisions regarding accessing social services, entering into the workforce, obtaining identification, and finding housing while simultaneously complying with supervision and managing limited resources.
In addition to participants taking on "identities" of reentrants navigating the community, Volunteers (generally comprised of workforce and other criminal justice professionals) operate the services within the simulation offering a chance for both participants and volunteers to witness firsthand the system barriers and challenges of successful rehabilitation within the Criminal Justice-Involved population.
If you are interested in learning more about the reentry simulation please contact the Coalition Coordinator.
